Mary of Magdala had seven demons cast out of her (Luke 8:2).  However, it is important to note that she was the first to see the empty tomb and the first to carry the good news to the disciples.She is also noticed in Luke 8:3 as one of the women who "ministered to Christ of their substance.” This shows how grateful she was for her deliverance – seven demons were cast from her.  Mary Magdalene accompanied Jesus on His last journey to Jerusalem (Matt. 27:55; Mark 15:41; Luke 23:55). She also stood near the crossduring his crucifixion. Her encounter with Jesus made her a spiritual example that we all should emulate.
