Jehovah-Tsidkenumeans"The Lord Our Righteousness". By Adam’s transgress man lost the righteous state that he had with God and we lost all legal righteousness in the sight of God. Jesus became righteousness for us when He took our place on the cross.

Scriptural Context:

Jeremiah 23:6. “Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and    shall     execute judgment and justice in the earth.  In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, The Lord our righteousness.”

1 John 3: “He was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin"

Heb 1:3 “Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:”

Rom 3:20 “By the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight"
