But ye have unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. (1 John 2:20)
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 1 John 2:27
New Testament Greek words for “anoint” are chrio, which means “to smear or rub with oil” and, by implication, “to consecrate for office or religious service”; and aleipho, which means “to anoint.” The ointment here refers to the Holy Spirit from which flows all the gifts and graces of God to the Church. The anointed one are the Lord’s anointed and are true believers; just as the wise virgins were who had oil in their vessels with their lamps, which would never go out. The essential meaning of the Bible word "anoint" is "to pour on, smear all over or rub into." In the Old Testament, someone who was anointed by God for special service to God had oil poured or smeared on him. For instance, Saul, and later David, was anointed with oil by the prophet Samuel when God revealed He had chosen him to be king of Israel. When King Saul rebelled against God and tried to kill David, David refused to harm him because Saul was "the Lord's anointed" (I Samuel 24:6).
“Endowment of the Holy Spirit” is another term used for the anointing. Endowments are gifts from the Holy Spirit which give individuals power and authority to receive and utilize the gifts of God for service to the Church. The Bible teaches that people were anointed with oil to signify God’s blessing or call on that person’s life (Exodus 29:7; Exodus 40:9; 2 Kings 9:6; Ecclesiastes 9:8; James 5:14). A person was anointed for a special purpose—to be a king, to be a prophet, to be a builder . To be anointed by God is not only to be picked, but also to be empowered by Him for the task or position to which He has called you. The Hebrew word "Messiah" and the Greek word "Christ" both mean "the Anointed."
Another meaning for the word anointed is "chosen one." The Bible says that Jesus Christ was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit to spread the Good News and free those who have been held captive by sin (Luke 4:18-19; Acts 10:38). After Christ left the earth, He gave us the gift of the Holy Spirit (John 14:16). Now all Christians are anointed, chosen for a specific purpose in furthering God's Kingdom (1 John 2:20). "Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee" (2 Corinthians 1:21-22) This anointing is a teaching one; it makes persons of quick understanding; it enlightens their understandings, refreshes their memories, and strengthens all the powers and faculties of the soul; it leads into the knowledge of all spiritual things, into all the mysteries of grace, and truths of the Gospel.
In Luke 4:18-19 Jesus, reading from another Messianic prophecy in Isaiah, said, "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor” (niv)
News of the Anointed and His Anointing was the "good news" or "gospel" the early Church ministered. When Peter was asked to preach the basic, gospel message to the gentiles for the very first time, the first thing he told them was "how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him" (see Acts 10:38-39). When Philip preached Christ (the Anointed One and His Anointing) in Samaria, "the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did. For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed" (see Acts 8:6-8). They received and heard the good news that the Anointed One and His Anointing had come to destroy the yokes from their backs. From the moment they received it, God confirmed it, just as He did in Jesus' ministry.
The anointing is God's presence by the Holy Spirit. The anointing on Jesus was by the Holy Spirit (see Luke 4:18; Acts 10:38). The anointing we have received from Jesus is by the Holy Spirit. (Compare I John 2:20, 26-27; John 14:26.) The anointing is God's Spirit and power for service in this earth. Jesus has provided the same presence of the Holy Spirit for us in our earthly ministries that He had in His earthly ministry!
The word "Christ" is not just another name for Jesus, but a reference to the Anointed and the Anointing that was on Him and in Him. In the same way, the word "Christians" means more than just followers of Jesus. It means "the anointeds." The same yoke-destroying Anointing that was on Jesus is available to you.
If you're "in Christ," there's an anointing for everything you're called to do, no matter how small or how great the task. That's what the Apostle Paul meant when he said, "I can do all things through Christ (the Anointed and His Anointing) which strengtheneth me" (Philippians 4:13). Notice that he didn't say "who strengtheneth me" but "which strengtheneth me." He was talking about the anointing. The same anointing that enabled you to be born again will heal your body, help you succeed in business, and empower you to prosper spirit, soul, body and in every aspect of your life. (See Luke 5:20-24.)

THE HOLY SPIRIT MUST BE ABLE TO TRUST YOU.
IN THE HOLY OF HOLIES, YOU ARE NOT INTERESTED IN WHAT GOD CAN DO FOR YOU; YOU ARE INTERESTED IN KNOWING HIM.
Jeremiah 10
(Paraphrase) Awake (pray), awake, shake yourselves of lethargy, pay the price, seek the lord with all your might, enter into deep love, make Him your number one priority and these things will occur:
1. WE WILL PUT ON SPIRITUAL STRENGTH (STRENGTH AGAINST SATAN, SIN AND TEMPTATION. WEAKNESS WILL GO.
2. WE WILL PUT ON NEW HOLY GARMENTS, THE GARMENTS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. SIN WILL NOT BE ABLE TO TOUCH US.
3. THE UNCIRCUMSIZED AND UNCLEAN WILL NOT BE A PART OF US (COMPANION WITH THE WICKED).
4. WE WILL STOP RUNNING HERE AND THERE LOOKING FOR OTHERS TO PRAY FOR US AND GET US OUT OF TROUBLE. WE WILL ARISE AND BE FREE.

7. WE SHALL KNOW GOD AND HIS POWER.

8. WE WILL BE USED FOR THE GREATEST SERVICE TO THE LORD.

THE BLESSINGS OF SILENCE
QUIET! GOD COMES IN WHEN WE ARE QUIET. STOP TO HEAR FROM HIM.
WE MUST GIVE GOD THE GLORY IN OUR LIVES (NOT OURSELVES OR OTHERS).
LEARN HOW TO SURRENDER TO GOD (LORD, NOT MY WILL OR WAY, BUT YOURS).
THE LORD MUST BE ABLE TO TRUST ME WITH HIS ANOINTING.
WE MUST BE A LIVING SEED, WILLING TO FALL INTO THE GROUND AND DIE (BE BURIED). THEN, WE CAN BRING FORTH MUCH FRUIT.
WE CAN’T OUT GIVE GOD. HE WILL RETURN THROUGH THE ANOINTING MORE THAN WE COULD EVER IMAGINE WHAT WE RELEASE AND GIVE TO HIM.
THE GLORY OF GOD IS THE PERSON AND PRESENCE OF GOD - THE GLORY IS THE HOLY SPIRIT. HIS ANOINTING BRINGS THIS PRESENCE.
WHEN THE PRESENCE (GLORY) OF GOD COMES, THE ATTRIBUTES OF GOD COME AS WELL. (Ex. 33:18). THE ATTRIBUTES ARE: GRACE, MERCY, FORGIVENESS, COMPASSION, AND GOODNESS.
LIVES ARE CHANGED FOR ETERNITY BECAUSE HE HOLY SPIRIT BRINGS THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT (Gal 5:22-23).
THE ANOINTING IS THE POWER OF GOD.
• THE POWER THAT CREATED MAN.
• THE POWER THAT RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD.
• IT IS THE POWER THAT WILL BRING JESUS FROM THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD TO EARTH AT THE APPOINTED TIME, AND WILL CAUSE ALL THINGS TO BE MADE NEW.
GOD IS NOT DIVIDED
THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT WHICH COMES WITH THE PRESENCE OF GOD IS NOT PROGRESSIVE, IT IS INSTANT.
HE DOES NOT DIVIDE HIMSELF UP WHEN HE ENTERS YOU. NEITHER DOES HE GROW UP IN YOU! HE COMES IN WITH FULLNESS.
THE PRESENCE OF GOD CARRIES HIS VOICE; THE GIFTS OF GOD CARRY YOURS.
YOU MUST HAVE THE ANOINTING
WITHOUT THE ANOINTING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, THERE WILL BE NO GROWTH, NO BLESSING, NOR MINISTRY IN YOUR MINISTRY.
THERE WILL BE NO SALVATION, NO HEALINGS, NO BINDING OF DEVILS. THE PRESENCE IS ESSENTIAL.
“LORD, PLEASE ANOINT ME TODAY, OR MY WORDS (OR DEEDS) WILL BE DEAD.
THE ANOINTING COMES WITH OBEDIENCE (OBEY, AND IT INCREASES; DISOBEY AND IT STOPS).
THE ANOINTING IS DEPENDENT UPON MY WORDS. GOD WILL NOT MOVE UNLESS I SAY IT. WHY? BECAUSE HE HAS MADE US COWORKERS WITH HIM. HE SETS THINGS UP THAT WAY.
THE ANOINTING WILL NOT FLOW AND TOUCH ANYONE IF I’M AFRAID. BOLDNESS IS A MUST. I MUST USE THE WEAPON HE’S GIVEN ME - HIS WORDS AND HIS NAME.
IF YOU HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT AND SUBMIT TO HIS COMMANDS, HIS NAME WILL HAVE POWER IN YOUR LIFE. IF YOU DON’T DO THIS, YOU’LL BE MOCKED BY DEVILS.
YOU MUST FLOW WITH THE WILL OF GOD IN THE SERVICE OF GOD TO OBTAIN THE POWER OF GOD.
THE ANOINTING IS DEPENDENT ON OBEDIENCE, BUT THE KNOWLEDGE OF SCRIPTURE IS ALSO KEY TO THAT OBEDIENCE.
WE MUST ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT WE ARE DEALING WITH THE GRACE OF GOD, NOT OUR OWN WORKS.
THREE ANOINTINGS (Lev. 14, John 1:29).
1. THE LEPER’S ANOINTING.
AT SALVATION, WE EXPERIENCE THE FIRST ANOINTING- THE LEPER’S ANOINTING, WHICH REVEALS THE POWER OF THE BLOOD THROUGH THE OIL OF ANOINTING THAT FLOWS OVER US.
WITH THE LEPER’S ANOINTING, WE ARE INTRODUCED TO GOD IN AN EXTRAORDINARY AND WONDERFUL WAY AND WE SEE OUR TOTAL NEED FOR JESUS CHRIST. BUT WE REALLY DON’T UNDERSTAND MUCH MORE.
THE LEPER’S ANOINTING (SALVATION) IS A ONE-TIME EXPERIENCE AND CANNOT BE LOST UNLESS YOU WILLINGLY WALK AWAY FROM IT. GOD WILL NEVER GO UNLESS YOU LET HIM GO. THIS REQUIRES A DECISION THAT YOU WOULD RATHER PERISH THAN BE SAVED.
2. THE PRIESTLY ANOINTING {Psalms 133; the book of Acts (day of Pentecost)}.
THE ANOINTING FOR MINISTRY UNTO THE LORD, INCLUDING LEADING SOULS TO HIM, BUT NOT SERVICE OF HIM IN BATTLES AGAINST THE DEVIL AND DISEASE, BUT MINISTRY TO HIM AS PRIESTS; FOR WE ALL ARE PRIESTS.
WE ARE MINISTERS TO GOD. IF WE ARE TO MINISTER UNTO GOD, WE MUST HAVE THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT TO DO SO. BAPTIZED INTO THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE PRIESTLY ANOINTING. PRIESTS WERE ANOINTED EVERY DAY. WE NEED A DAILY ANOINTING. THE PRIESTLY ANOINTING IS NOT A ONE TIME EXPERIENCE, IT MUST BE RENEWED.
THE PRIESTLY ANOINTING BRINGS THE PRESENCE, THE COMMUNION, AND THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
REVELATION KNOWLEDGE COMES WITH THE PRIESTLY ANOINTING.
THE PRIESTLY ANOINTING (THE PRESENCE) CAN BE LOST; FOR IF SIN COMES INTO YOUR HEART, IT LIFTS).
3. THE KINGLY ANOINTING.
THIS ANOINTING LIFTS A PERSON TO A PLACE OF HIGH AUTHORITY IN GOD, GIVING HIM AUTHORITY OVER DEVILS, THE POWER TO ROUT DEMONS WITH ONE WORD. ONLY THIS WILL GIVE YOU THE POWER TO SEND THE ENEMIES OF GOD FLYING AS THE APOSTLE PAUL DID.
THE LEPERS ANOINTING COMES BY ACCEPTING JESUS AND THE PRIESTLY ANOINTING COMES BY FELLOWSHIP WITH JESUS, THE KINGLY ANOINTING COMES BY OBEYING JESUS.
OUR CHOICE
WE WILL NEVER HAVE THE REVELATION ABOUT THE “I AM” UNLESS WE CHOOSE HIM. GOD WILL NOT FORCE HIMSELF ON ANYONE.
“WE HAVE RECEIVED THE SPIRIT WHO IS FROM GOD, THAT WE MIGHT KNOW THE THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN FREELY GIVEN TO US BY GOD. THE NATURAL MAN DOES NOT RECEIVE THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD…BECAUSE THEY ARE SPIRITUALLY DISCERNED.BUT WE HAVE THE MIND OF CHRIST (1 Cor. 2:12-16).
ONE REVELATION IS JUST THE BEGINNING OF ANOTHER. EVERY REVELATION MAKES YOU HUNGRY FOR ANOTHER.
THE PRESENCE OF GOD IS THE VEHICLE THAT BRINGS THE POWER. POWER FOLLOWS THE PRESENCE. THE PRESENCE AND THE FRUIT COME TOGETHER. THE ANOINTING AND THE POWER DO TOO.
WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE ANOINTING OF THE SPIRIT, THE RESULT IS THE FULFILLMENT OF ACTS 1:8 “YOU SHALL BE WITNESSES TO ME”.
SPEAKING IN TONGUES OR MANIFESTING ANY GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT WITHOUT THE PRESENCE IS NOT WHAT GOD WAS TALKING ABOUT IN ACTS 1:8. YOU MUST HAVE THE PRESENCE FIRST, WHICH GIVES YOU THE FRUIT, AND THIS WILL INVITE GOD TO DWELL WITHIN YOU. THEN THE ANOINTING WILL COME, WHICH MEANS POWER. AND YOU WILL BE HIS WITNESS.
FEAR IS THE RESULT OF SELF-CONSCIOUSNESS, AND BOLDNESS IF THE FIRST RESULT OF GOD-CONSCIOUSNESS. WHEN WE BECOME GOD CONSCIOUS, WE ARE NOT LONGER FORCED TO TRUST IN OURSELVES AND OUR OWN STRENGTH, BUT GOD’S PRESENCE RESIDES WITHIN, BRINGING POWER AND AUTHORITY TO OUR LIVES. WE NO LONGER MUST FIGHT OUR BATTLES IN OUR OWN STRENGTH, BUT WE CAN BOLDLY CALL UPON GOD ALMIGHTY THROUGH THE AUTHORITY OF THE SPIRIT.
THE PRESENCE OF THE SPIRIT WILL INDWELL YOU SPIRIT. WHILE THE ANOINTING OF THE SPIRIT WILL COVER AND SATURATE YOU. YOU MUST HAVE BOTH THE ADEQUATELY SHOW FORTH JESUS TO THE WORLD – TO BE HIS WITNESS. IT TAKES THE PRESENCE TO CHANGE YOU, WHILE IT TAKES THE ANOINTING TO COMMUNICATE THE PRESENCE OUT OF YOU.
WE MUST PRAY. IT IS PRIMARILY WAR AGAINST THE SELF, WHICH IS THE BIGGEST ENEMY. IF YOU CAN’T LOSE SIGHT OF SELF, YOU’LL NOT KNOW THE PRESENCE OF GOD.
THE FLESH DIES IN PRAYER. AND YOU WILL HAVE TO BATTLE TO ACHIEVE THAT.
GOD WILL ENTRUST YOU WITH LITTLE THINGS, TO DETERMINE YOUR FAITHFULNESS, HOW YOU WILL OBEY. IF YOU ARE FAITHFUL IN A LITTLE, HE WILL ENTRUST YOU WITH MORE..AND MORE..AND MORE. HIS POWER WILL BE UPON YOU TO FULFILL THE CALLING HAS HAD MADE UPON YOU.
JESUS WAS IN CONTINUAL FELLOWSHIP WITH HIS FATHER, AND WE SHOULD BE IN CONTINUAL FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM, TOO, BY THE WAY OF THE WONDERFUL HOLY SPIRIT.
TWO PROFOUND BASICS (REPENTANCE AND THE BLOOD OF CHRIST)
1. REPENTANCE
A. “Repent and let everyone of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you and to you children and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call (Act 2:38).”
B. “Ye shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you; and ye shall be witnesses unto me…unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).”
REPENTANCE, SPIRIT, ANOINTING, POWER –“TO BE WITNESSES UNTO ME.”
WE MUST TELL ABOUT OUR GREAT HIGH PRIEST, ABOUT OUR GREAT KING, ABOUT OUR WONDERFUL SAVIOR WHOSE NAME IS JESUS.
WHAT DOES REPENTANCE MEAN? “WHOSEVER CONFESSES AND FORSAKES THEM (HIS SINS) WILL HAVE MERCY” (PROVERBS 28:13).
REPENTANCE MEANS CONFESSING AND FORSAKING SINS.
WHEN THE GIFT OF GOD COMES – THE SPIRIT – HE WILL GIVE LIFE TO FAITH.
WE MUST BE FAITHFUL TO REPENT FOR EVERYTHING.
“LORD CREATE IN ME A CLEAN HEART.” “THE SACRIFICES OF GOD ARE A BROKEN SPIRIT, A BROKEN AND A CONTRITE HEART.” “FORGIVE ME LORD FOR SEEKING THE THINGS OF THIS WORLD.” FORGIVE ME LORD FOR FORSAKING MY FIRST LOVE.” “TAKE NOT YOUR HOLY SPIRIT FROM ME.”
WE MUST RECEIVE THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT DAILY TO BATTLE WITH THE FLESH.
WE MUST LIVE A LIFE THAT IS CRUCIFIED DAILY.
WE MUST LIVE A LIFE THAT DEALS WITH OUR SINS DAILY.
REPENTANCE, PRESENCE, ANOINTING, SERVICE, JOY
WHAT MAKES IT WORK? THE BLOOD
A. “IN HIM WE HAVE REDEMPTION THROUGH HIS BLOOD.” Eph. 1:7

C. “HAVING NOW BEEN JUSTIFIED BY HIS BLOOD, WE SHALL BE SAVED FROM WRATH THROUGH HIM.” Rom 5:9
JUSTIFICATION DEALS WITH THE FUTURE – THE WRATH WHICH IS TO COME. IF YOU ARE JUSTIFIED, EVERYTHING YOU WILL DO FROM NOW ON IS TAKEN CARE OF.
THE PIVOTAL POINT: SINNING KNOWINGLY AND WILLINGLY (JUSTIFICATION FLIES OUT OF THE WINDOW). THERE IS NO MORE PLACE FOR REPENTANCE.
CONTINUAL JUSTIFICATION DEPENDS UPON OBEDIENCE, AND OBEDIENCE IS THE WAY TO THE ANOINTING.
D. “AND BY HIM TO RECONCILE ALL THINGS TO HIMSELF, HAVING MADE PEACE THROUGH THE BLOOD OF HIS CROSS.”
GOD HAS RECONCILED US TO HIMSELF AND THERE IS PEACE BETWEEN HIM AND US. WE HAVE BEEN BROUGHT BACK AND RESTORED IN FELLOWSHIP WITH THE FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT. IN THE FULLEST SENSE, RECONCILIATION HERE MEANS ONE WITH GOD.

THE ANOINTING WILL NOT COME WITHOUT SANCTIFICATION. SANCTIFICATION MEANS “SET APART”.
LEPER (LEVITICUS 14)
THE PRIEST GOES OUTSIDE THE CAMP, TAKES THE BLOOD, DIPS HYSSOP IN BLOOD, SPRINKLES THE LEPER SEVEN TIMES, AND THE LEPER IS CLEANSED FROM LEPROSY.
AFTER THIS, THE LEPER COMES INTO THE CAMP, AND THE PRIEST TAKES BLOOD, THE SAME BLOOD, AND APPLIES IT TO THE CLEANSED LEPER’S EAR, THUMB, AND TOE.
EAR = THOUGHT LIFE, THUMB = WORK LIFE, TOE = WALK.
THE PRIEST THEN PUTS THE OIL ON HIS THUMB AND TOE AND POURS A HANDFUL OVER THE CLEANSED LEPER’S HEAD. THIS IS THE FULLNESS OF THE ANOINTING: THOUGHT LIFE, WORK LIFE, AND WALK LIFE.
BLOOD MUST BE APPLIED ON EVERY ASPECT OF OUR LIVES.
THE BLOOD PROTECTS AND THE OIL SANCTIFIES.
THE BLOOD PRECEDES THE OIL.
THE LORD WILL NEVER ANOINT YOU WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT UNTIL YOU APPLY THE BLOOD TO YOUR LIFE – ALL OF YOUR LIFE.
HOW WE COVER OURSELVES WITH THE BLOOD.
A. KNOWLEDGE. WE MUST KNOW WHAT THE BLOOD HAS DONE
B. WE MUST HAVE FAITH IN WHAT WE KNOW. (BELIEVE IT)
C. WE MUST DECLARE BY FAITH WHAT WE KNOW. SPEAK OUT LOUD!
IT IS WRITTEN THAT THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS, I HAVE FORGIVENESS OF SINS. I AM FORGIVEN.
IT IS WRITTEN THAT I HAVE BEEN REDEEMED BY THE BLOOD OF CHRIST. I HAVE BEEN BOUGHT BACK.
IT IS WRITTEN THAT I CAN APPLY THE BLOOD OF CHRIST TO MY THOUGHT LIFE, MY WORK LIFE, AND MY EVERYDAY WALK LIFE. I APPLY THE BLOOD AND ALL OF MY LIFE IS PROTECTED.

• GUARANTEED THE SECOND COMING – HEB 9:28
THE EXAMPLE OF JESUS
“THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD IN UPON ME, BECAUSE HE HAS ANOINTED ME TO PREACH THE GOSPEL TO THE POOR, HE HAS SENT ME TO HEAL THE BROKENHEARTED, TO PREACH DELIVERANCE TO THE CAPTIVES AND RECOVERY OF SIGHT TO THE BLIND, TO SET AT LIBERTY THOSE WHO ARE OPPRESSED, TO PREACH THE ACCEPTABLE YEAR OF THE LORD” Luke 4:18 – 19
THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE ONLY POWER ON EARTH THAT CAN DESTROY THE POWER OF SATAN. WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THAT POWER.
“IN MY NAME THAT WILL CAST OUT DEMONS” Mark 16:17.
THE ACCEPTABLE YEAR OF THE LORD IS NOW.
HOW TO DISCERN THE VOICE OF GOD
HEARING AND OBEYING THE VOICE OF GOD IS CENTRAL TO RECEIVING THE ANOINTING.
THE ANOINTING WILL COME AS WE BECOME WITNESSES FOR JESUS.
WE MUST RESPOND BECAUSE IF WE ARE NOT THERE TO CAPTURE HIS TOUCH, HE MAY NEVER PASS YOU THAT WAY AGAIN.
SOMETIMES THE SPIRIT MOVES SLOW AND WE MUST WAIT FOR HIM.
HE DOES NOT FOLLOW US; WE FOLLOW THE HOLY SPIRIT.
“MY SHEEP HEAR MY VOICE, I KNOW THEM, AND THEY FOLLOW ME.” John 10:27
WE MUST FELLOWSHIP WITH GOD IN PRAISE AND WORSHIP.
WE MUST REPENT IF WE ARE LIVING IN SIN.
WE MUST DRAW FROM DISTRACTIONS AND PAY ATTENTION TO GOD.
WE HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT.
WE MUST SEEK THE WILL OF GOD. WE MUST OBEY HIS VOICE.
WE MUST HUNGER AND THIRST FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND TO PRAY AND SEEK HIS FACE.
DON’T ALLOW THE “HOLES” OF BITTERNESS, UNFORGIVENESS, SELF-PITY, AND THE LIKE TO CREEP INTO YOUR LIFE AND INTO YOUR VESSEL FOR THE OIL OF THE HOLY SPIRIT TO RUN OUT.
